Deep linking allows affiliates to send referred traffic directly to a relevant destination page instead of routing everyone through the operator's homepage. For example, an affiliate writing a review of a specific slot game can link directly to that game's page, or a Forex affiliate promoting a particular account type can link straight to the registration page for that account. The tracking parameters are appended to the destination URL, so the affiliate still receives credit for the referral even though the user bypasses the homepage.
Deep links improve conversion rates because they reduce friction in the user journey. When a potential customer clicks a link expecting to see a specific product, game, or offer, landing on the homepage forces them to navigate and find it themselves -- and many will leave before they do.
