Lifetime Commission
Lifetime commission is a deal structure where an affiliate earns ongoing commission from a referred customer for as long as that customer remains active, with no expiration date.
What it means in practice
Lifetime commission is a RevShare or recurring commission arrangement where the affiliate continues to earn from a referred customer indefinitely — as long as the customer generates revenue for the operator. Unlike time-limited deals that cap commission at 6 or 12 months, lifetime commission has no expiration date. This structure is one of the strongest incentives an operator can offer to attract and retain high-quality affiliates.
For affiliates, lifetime commission aligns earnings with traffic quality. An affiliate who sends a player with high LTV (Lifetime Value) benefits proportionally over time. For operators, it creates a long-term cost tied to actual revenue, which is easier to justify commercially than upfront CPA payouts on customers who may churn quickly. The trade-off is that lifetime deals require ongoing tracking, reporting transparency, and trust between both parties.
Not all lifetime commission deals are equal. Operators may include revenue share deductions that reduce effective payouts, or apply negative carryover that can temporarily zero out earnings. The affiliate agreement should clearly define what "lifetime" means — some programs reserve the right to renegotiate or terminate terms, which effectively limits the "lifetime" promise.
