NGR (Net Gaming Revenue) parte del GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) y le sustrae las deducciones acordadas entre el operador y el afiliado: bonos, impuestos, chargebacks y comisiones de plataforma, entre otros conceptos. Es uno de los indicadores más relevantes en los contratos de afiliación de iGaming porque determina directamente la base sobre la que se calcula el pago de RevShare.
Los operadores prefieren el NGR porque refleja el valor comercial neto de cada jugador, en lugar de los ingresos brutos de juego. Para los afiliados, la diferencia entre GGR y NGR puede ser significativa: si las deducciones por bonos de depósito, costes fiscales o comisiones de pasarela de pago son elevadas, el NGR resultante puede quedar muy por debajo del GGR inicial. Por ese motivo, el porcentaje de RevShare publicitado en el programa no es suficiente para valorar un acuerdo; la fórmula de cálculo del NGR es igual de determinante.
Los acuerdos basados en NGR se vuelven aún más sensibles cuando incluyen cláusulas de Negative Carryover. Si un programa combina deducciones elevadas con el arrastre de pérdidas de un mes al siguiente, los ingresos reales del afiliado pueden alejarse considerablemente del porcentaje teórico pactado. Antes de firmar cualquier acuerdo de RevShare, los afiliados deben solicitar la definición contractual exacta del NGR y comparar las deducciones aplicadas por distintos operadores.
