El negative carryover es una política por la que un saldo negativo de un periodo se traslada al siguiente y compensa las ganancias futuras del afiliado.

Significa que, si un jugador o grupo de jugadores referidos genera un saldo negativo en un mes, ese déficit se arrastra y se deduce de los meses siguientes antes de que el afiliado vuelva a ganar.
La política importa porque cambia el perfil real de ganancias de un acuerdo de RevShare. Un programa puede anunciar un porcentaje atractivo, pero si además usa NGR (Net Gaming Revenue) con deducciones agresivas, incluidos los chargebacks, y arrastre negativo, los pagos reales pueden retrasarse o reducirse durante periodos largos.
