What it means in practice
Un sub-affiliato è un affiliato che entra in un programma tramite il referral di un affiliato esistente (il parent). L'affiliato parent guadagna una commissione di override, in genere il 5-15%, sui guadagni generati dai sub-affiliati che ha reclutato. Questo crea una rete multi-livello in cui il parent beneficia del traffico e delle conversioni guidate dagli affiliati che ha portato nel programma. Il concetto è simile alla struttura Sub-IB del settore Forex e si appoggia spesso a strutture di multi-tier commission.
I programmi di sub-affiliazione offrono benefici chiari sia agli operatori sia agli affiliati. Per gli operatori espandono la portata del programma attraverso le reti degli affiliati esistenti senza costo o sforzo di reclutamento aggiuntivo. Per gli affiliati, reclutare sub-affiliati crea una fonte di reddito passivo oltre ai guadagni diretti. Ci sono però rischi: il controllo di qualità tende a diluirsi a ogni livello, poiché l'operatore ha meno supervisione diretta sulle fonti e sui metodi di traffico dei sub-affiliati.
