A payout certificate is a document -- typically a screenshot, PDF, or branded graphic -- that confirms a prop trading firm has paid profits to a trader who passed the evaluation phase and traded a funded account. These certificates usually display the payout amount, date, and sometimes the trader's name or account identifier. They function as proof that the firm follows through on its profit split commitments.

In prop trading affiliate marketing, payout certificates are a primary trust-building tool. Affiliates share them on social media, YouTube, review sites, and community forums to demonstrate that the firm they promote actually pays its traders. Because the prop trading industry has faced credibility challenges -- with some firms failing to honor payouts -- authentic payout certificates can significantly influence a potential customer's decision to purchase a challenge through an affiliate link.

The effectiveness of payout certificates as a marketing asset depends on their perceived authenticity. Firms that provide standardized, verifiable certificates give affiliates stronger promotional material.
